   A cleaner question grid

     In the numbered question grid you use to jump around a set, the boxes for questions you missed showed a small cross next to the number. On a phone the two crowded each other, and the red fill already tells you the same thing, so the box now shows the number alone.

   Six cram sheets rebuilt — easier to scan, and a lot more in them

     Lab Values, Pharmacology Core, Dosage Calculation, Communicable Diseases, Cardiovascular and Metabolism & Endocrine have all been rebuilt. The dense paragraph boxes are broken into a label down the side with short WHY / DO / warning lines, so you can find the one line you need instead of reading the whole block. The labels on the illustrations are readable now instead of tiny. Every one of the six also got longer: Cardiovascular went from 10 pages to 16, Communicable Diseases and Pharmacology Core from 12 to 15.

     The extra pages are things that were missing rather than filler. Cardiovascular now covers heart sounds and where to listen, taking a chest-pain history, ejection fraction, acute pulmonary edema, cardiac cath and CABG aftercare, and the H's and T's. Pharmacology Core has a new medication-safety part: the Do Not Use abbreviations, look-alike drug pairs, and what to do when an error has already happened. Lab Values now tells you how each electrolyte is actually corrected, Dosage covers percentage and ratio strengths, body surface area and intake and output, and Endocrine adds myxedema coma, acromegaly and adrenalectomy.

     Philippine guidelines, laws and food added to four of the six sheets. more ▾less ▴

     Four of the six had no Philippine content at all before. They now carry the ASIN Law and newborn screening, the Philippine blood-pressure threshold of 140/90 and what that means next to the American chart, discharge teaching written around Filipino food, kutsara and kutsarita measurements with a warning about using a kitchen spoon for medicine, potassium-rich Filipino foods, and the DOH National TB Control Program.

     If you had highlighted any of these six sheets, your marks may now sit over the wrong text, because the pages were re-laid out and the sheets got longer. Nothing was deleted and your typed notes are safe. If you would rather keep working from the exact version you marked up, message us in Help & Support and we will send you that older PDF.

     "Retry your misses" and "Drill" on the results screen open properly now. more ▾less ▴

     On the results screen at the end of a practice session, tapping "Retry your misses" or a "Drill" suggestion appeared to do nothing — the heading at the top changed, but your finished results stayed on screen, so it looked like a dead button. Both now open the set they promise: "Retry your misses" starts a fresh Practice set of only the questions you got wrong in that session, and "Drill" starts new questions on that topic. Nothing was lost while this was broken — every miss was still saved to your Vault, and you could always start the same set from History.

   Resumed sessions, mock reviews, and a Terms page promise

     A question pulled mid-session no longer leaves your set unable to finish. more ▾less ▴

     If a question was pulled from the bank while you had a set open, picking that set back up could dead-end when you tried to submit. The question now simply drops out of the set when you resume, and the count adjusts to match, so the session finishes normally. Sessions that were already stuck have been repaired.

     "View answers" on a finished mock section is now a visible button. more ▾less ▴

     On the mock board page, "View answers" for a finished section is now a proper button instead of quiet text, so it is obvious that a section you have submitted can be reviewed.

     The Terms page now quotes the same verification window as checkout. more ▾less ▴

     Our Terms page still said payment verification takes 48 to 72 hours, while the checkout page you read minutes earlier said a few hours. The Terms now carry the same promise as the checkout: usually within a few hours, 72 hours at the very most.

     IMCI now has its own topic under Care of the Community, with 140 new questions and a 40-card deck. It is not a separately named line on the PNLE Table of Specifications, but it turns up on past boards constantly, and the bank had almost nothing on it — 8 questions out of more than 14,000. The new items cover the general danger signs, the classification tables and their colors, Plans A, B and C, and the follow-up intervals.

     Where old and new IMCI guidance disagree, the rationale names both and marks the current one. more ▾less ▴

     Where the current WHO and DOH chart booklet disagrees with older Philippine review material, these questions follow the current chart and the rationale names the older position out loud, so you recognize both. That matters for chest indrawing, amoxicillin over cotrimoxazole, the 3-day follow-up, and how malnutrition is classified — all places where a past board paper keyed the older answer.

     The topic was added to every active study plan, so it appears on your calendar alongside the rest of NP1. You do not need to rebuild your plan to get it.

   Mock days count while you're still in the section

     Days spent inside a mock section now count toward your streak. more ▾less ▴

     If you worked through a mock section across more than one day, only the day you tapped Submit counted toward your study streak — the day you actually sat down and answered read as a missed day. Answering inside a mock section now counts that day right away, whatever day you end up submitting it. Days you already lost this way can be restored; message us if your streak looks wrong.

   A Pure White theme

     A plain black-on-white theme, in Profile → Appearance. more ▾less ▴

     By student request, there is now a Pure White theme: a plain black-on-white look with the cream background and the green and gold accents stripped out, for anyone who finds the tinted look distracting while answering questions. Right and wrong answers keep their green and red, and your highlighters keep their colors. Turn it on in Profile → Appearance — it sits alongside Light, Dark, and System, and like them it's saved per device. The sun/moon button in the top bar remembers it too: flip to Dark for the night and the sun brings back Pure White, not cream.

   Retry the questions you missed in a set

     By student request, every finished practice session now ends with a "Retry your misses" button: one tap starts a fresh set made of only the questions you got wrong in that session, in Practice mode with rationales after each answer. Past sessions have it too — open any session in History and retry its misses from there. It sits alongside your Vault, which keeps collecting every miss across sessions for longer-term review.

   Fourteen new cram sheets — the library tripled

     The cram sheet library has grown from 6 sheets to 20 over the last few days. New for maternal and child nursing: Antepartum, Intrapartum, and Postpartum, Newborn & Family Planning. New for medical-surgical: Perioperative Nursing and Nutrition & Gastrointestinal. New for psychiatric and critical care: Mental Health Concepts, Psychiatric Assessment, Therapies & Psychopharmacology, and Critical Care & Emergency Nursing. New for community health: Non-Communicable Diseases, Care of Families & Population Groups, and the Philippine Health System, UHC & Primary Health Care. All of them are in Resources now, and all of them are illustrated.

     Community health nursing now has six cram sheets of its own. The two newest are Immunization, Maternal & Child Health & Nutrition, which lays out the National Immunization Program schedule with an illustration of an infant showing exactly where each vaccine goes and how deep the needle sits, then the cold chain, tetanus in pregnancy, the four pillars of safe motherhood, Unang Yakap, newborn screening, and IMCI from the general danger signs down to Plans A, B and C; and Environmental Health, Disaster & Records, which covers the water and toilet facility levels, food sanitation, the health care waste color code, the environmental laws, disaster management and START triage, school and occupational health, the Mental Health Act in the community, and how records and reports move up through the FHSIS.

     Both of the new community health sheets point out the places where current Philippine guidance has moved on from what older review material still teaches, and give you both versions with the current one marked, so you are not left guessing which answer an examiner wants.

     By student request, there is also a new cram sheet on Theoretical Foundations & the Nursing Process — the subject where the options are four theorists and you either know the name or you don't. It sorts about twenty nursing theorists into four schools of thought so they stop blurring together, covers Nightingale, Henderson, Orem, Peplau, Roy, Neuman, Watson, Leininger and Benner in detail, and includes the Filipino theorists you won't find in an imported reviewer. It then walks the nursing process step by step, with prioritization, the five rights of delegation, and Republic Act 9173 and the Code of Ethics at the end.

     The NCD sheet now shows what a stroke facial droop really looks like. more ▾less ▴

     The new Non-Communicable Diseases sheet also shows you what a drooping face in stroke actually looks like, with an illustration and the one detail that separates a stroke from Bell's palsy: in a stroke the forehead is spared, so the person can still raise both eyebrows and close both eyes, and only the lower half of the face fails. It adds a case-finding section too, on who to look for in your barangay for cancer, chronic lung disease and kidney disease.

   Personal notes on questions, and more ways to go deeper

     By student request, you can now pin a personal note to any question. Tap "Add my note" under a rationale, write your own memory hook, and it stays with that question everywhere you meet it again — practice review, History, your Vault, and mock board reviews, on any device. Notes are private to you.

     The floating study-timer button is now labeled "Timer" instead of "Pomodoro", so the stopwatch mode inside it is easier to find.

     Changing your exam date is easier to find: your Study Plan header now has a "Change dates" link, and the plan setup form explains that a longer runway means lighter days.

     If the stopwatch keeps running while your phone is locked or BoardPal sits in the background for more than a few minutes, it now asks when you come back whether to keep that time on the clock or take it off. Nothing pauses on its own — studying from a book with your phone dark still counts exactly as before — but a stopwatch you forgot about no longer quietly inflates your study hours.
