Three facts were corrected across the questions. A partograph question now teaches the four-hour action line. Antacid questions now say to separate an antacid from your other medicines by at least 2 hours rather than 1 to 2 hours, and the explanations now add that levothyroxine and the fluoroquinolone antibiotics need about four hours, which our thyroid questions already taught. A leprosy classification question stated an India programme rule as though it were the World Health Organization rule, and it now states the WHO rule.

Three cram sheets were corrected to match. Communicable Diseases now separates the leprosy deformities caused by the bacillus in the skin from the ones caused by nerve damage, instead of calling all of them nerve damage. Nutrition and Gastrointestinal and Pharmacology Core now give the antacid separation as at least 2 hours, and Pharmacology Core adds the four-hour gap for levothyroxine and the fluoroquinolones. Nothing else on any page moved, so your highlights and notes are exactly where you left them.

Ten practice and mock questions were revised after your reports today. A scenario in a flooded evacuation center said intravenous fluids were limited while its question asked for the right fluid to give, so the shortage line is gone and the question now turns on the assessment findings alone. A dengue question asking which findings show compensated shock now states the blood pressure detail that separates it from decompensated shock, and explains why urine output alone cannot tell the two apart. A question on transfusion consent now says the nurse ensures consent is obtained after an explanation, which matches what you are taught: the physician explains the procedure and obtains the consent, and the nurse witnesses it and confirms the family understood. No correct answers changed anywhere, so every result you have already recorded still stands.

Two flashcards printed their own answers on the front, one showing the examples in brackets right beside the blank you were meant to fill in, the other showing the abbreviation of the answer. Both fronts are now clean, and the examples moved to the back where they reinforce what you recalled instead of replacing it.

Practice sets built from the New questions pool sometimes came out smaller than the number promised on the setup screen, and could serve questions you had already answered while new ones still existed. The builder now spends its search entirely on questions you have not answered yet, so short sets and surprise repeats only happen when your remaining new pool is genuinely running low.

The mock timer no longer jumps silently after a pause on a shaky connection. more ▾less ▴
On mock boards, pausing on a shaky connection could leave the timer looking like it restarted or jumped. The clock now re-checks its pause state with the server as you work, and whenever paused time is credited back it says so in a small note next to the timer instead of moving silently. No time was ever taken from anyone by this bug — it only ever gave extra.

Clearer explanations on 102 practice questions

Three questions on estimating a due date showed working that did not add up, even though the answer marked correct was right. The steps now match the rule they teach, and they match the way the same rule is written on the Antepartum cram sheet and the flashcards.

One leprosy question described the World Health Organization classification as needing more than five lesions together with a positive smear. Either finding on its own is enough, and the explanation now says so.

Seven practice and mock questions were revised after student reports this week. One had a choice that described the correct habit in a question asking what needs correcting, so that choice now states the misconception the client actually voiced. Two scenarios now state the detail their question depends on, and the explanations were rewritten to be easier to follow, with the arithmetic and schedules written out step by step. No correct answers changed, so every past result stands. Thank you to everyone who files reports; we read and act on every one.
Feeding after pyloric stenosis surgery now agrees

A pyloric stenosis question no longer contradicts two others about diluting feeds. more ▾less ▴
A question on the first feeding after pyloric stenosis surgery had diluting the formula built into its correct answer, while two other questions marked diluting as wrong. Diluting is not what the textbooks teach, so the wording is gone. The correct answer is unchanged and so is the point of the question, which was always about not laying the baby flat to feed. If you answered it before, your result stands.

A milestones flashcard now matches the questions on 12 month vocabulary. more ▾less ▴
A milestones flashcard said a 12 month old typically says one to three words besides mama and dada. Two practice questions teach two or three, which is what the textbooks say, so the card now says two or three as well. Pillitteri puts it at two words and Wong's at three to five, and two or three sits between them.

A flashcard on restarting feeds after pyloric stenosis surgery said to begin with clear or diluted feeds. It now says to start with small frequent feeds of clear fluid and build the volume up, and it names the point that was missing: volume is what you restrict after this operation, not strength.

Health education questions no longer give away their own answers. more ▾less ▴
In health education, most questions were giving away their own answers. One asked which teaching method suits clients who would benefit from sharing experiences and solving problems together, and the answer was group discussion. You did not need to know anything. Thirty four of the forty had a version of that problem and they have been rewritten so the wrong choices are things a careful nurse could genuinely argue for.

Removed a wording pattern that gave away eight answers in the maternal and child laws. more ▾less ▴
In the maternal and child law topic there was a shortcut nobody intended. Whenever a question used the word issuance rather than law, the answer was never a Republic Act, and that held true in every single case. Eight questions could be answered by noticing one word. The wording has been evened out so the word tells you nothing.

Corrected explanations that named the wrong law or stated things the law does not say. more ▾less ▴
Several explanations stated things that were simply not true and have been corrected against the laws themselves. One called the Malasakit Centers Act the Rice Tariffication Law, which is a different law entirely. Four said a law had nothing to do with generic prescribing when that law amended the generics law directly. One said a law carries no child labour penalties when it does, and a neighbouring question said the opposite, so the two contradicted each other. One question rested on a rule about PhilHealth membership and passports that is not in the law at all, and it has been removed.

Two questions had answers that were arguably wrong rather than just badly worded. One asked which health belief a nurse should address for a mother who said she had no time or energy, which describes a barrier, but the marked answer was confidence in her own ability. The scenario now has her say she keeps starting and slipping back, so confidence is clearly the issue. The other asked which question a nurse asks first when appraising a study and marked whether it applies here, when the accepted order checks whether the study is sound first. That one has been withdrawn rather than patched.

One question asked how many antenatal visits are recommended, said the clinic follows the Department of Health programme, and then marked eight contacts as correct. DOH guidance sets four focused visits. Eight is the World Health Organization figure. Both are current, and the rule we teach on the Immunization, MCH and Nutrition cram sheet is to answer four unless the question names WHO. That question now names WHO, so it agrees with the sheet instead of contradicting it. If it confused you, that was our fault and not yours.

Corrected an explanation that wrongly called a speculum examination dangerous. more ▾less ▴
A question on placenta praevia had an explanation saying that a digital or speculum examination can provoke torrential bleeding. That is not right, and it is the kind of thing you would carry into the ward. A speculum examination is safe when praevia is suspected and is often done first to look for another source of bleeding. It is the digital examination that waits until an ultrasound has settled where the placenta is. The explanation now says so.

A nutrition question described a woman who eats no meat, fish or eggs, and then explained its answer as though she avoided dairy too. With milk and cheese still in her diet she has a reliable source of vitamin B12, which made iron a fair answer as well. The scenario now says she avoids dairy, so B12 is clearly the one that needs attention and there is no second defensible answer.

Several explanations in that topic carried facts that were out of date or simply wrong, and have been corrected against current sources. Eggs were credited with heme iron when egg iron is non heme, which mattered because the same explanation ruled out another option for exactly that reason. Cats were said to shed toxoplasma for a week or two and no longer, when the sourced figure is one to three weeks. Neural tube closure was placed around the time a period is missed, when it finishes one to two weeks after. Quickening was given as 16 to 20 weeks in a first pregnancy, which is the figure for a later one.

Two questions in that topic were genuinely broken and are now gone. One asked which level of prevention a scenario showed, but the answer marked correct was not a level of prevention at all, so anyone reasoning it through properly was marked wrong. The other defined a term as the opposite of what it means. If either of them cost you a mark, that was our fault and not yours.

Several explanations in that topic were quietly out of date and have been corrected against the current sources: one said a government office issues no identification card when it does issue a temporary one, one ruled out free confinement in a government hospital in terms the Universal Health Care Act has since overtaken, one credited a tax break that the TRAIN law removed, and one still used a Department of Health program name that changed in 2013.
Submit answer will not go dead on you any more

If a question was pulled from the bank while it was still sitting in your practice set, tapping Submit answer did nothing at all. No message, no error, the button just went back to how it was. Your answer on that question now saves normally, so the set carries on to the end.

In exam mode the same questions were quietly missing from your results afterwards, because they were skipped rather than graded. They are graded now and appear with the rest.

The Report a problem form had the same gap, which mattered more: if your report failed to send, it said nothing, and you would reasonably have assumed it reached us. It now tells you plainly, and your message and photo stay in the box so you can send again. If you have ever written to us and heard nothing back, this may be why, and we are sorry.
Your Vault no longer stops at 20 questions

On the Vault screen, the red Redo button next to a topic now says exactly how many questions it will serve. If a topic has more misses than one run can hold it reads Redo 50 of 66, instead of promising the full pile and quietly giving you 20.
New Renal cram sheet; select-all explanations rewritten

A few explanations carried small factual slips, including a dialysis schedule that did not match the situation and an eye-drop instruction that had the reason the wrong way round. Those are corrected.

The Antepartum diagram labels are readable, and two pointers were aimed wrong. more ▾less ▴
The labels on that sheet's diagrams had been printing at roughly half the size of the body text, which made the pregnancy danger signs, pre-eclampsia, magnesium toxicity and ectopic pictures hard to read. They are sized properly now, and fixing them turned up two pointer lines that were aimed at blank space instead of the thing they named.

Your scroll always wins over the automatic glide

After you tap Submit or Next, the page glides to the next thing to read on its own. If you started scrolling during that glide, the page used to fight your finger and stutter, which could look like a broken screen. Now the moment you scroll, the glide steps aside and the page follows you.
My Notes now holds every note you write

The notes you leave under a question's explanation now appear in Resources > My Notes. Until today that page only gathered the sticky notes from cram sheets, so if you had written notes on practice questions it told you that you had none. Nothing was ever lost: every note you wrote is there now, grouped by topic. Tap one to reread the question, the choices, and the explanation without leaving the page.

Sticky notes you left on a cram sheet before it was updated are back in My Notes too. When a sheet gets a new edition your notes stay on the pages you wrote them on, and they were dropping off the list instead of showing up. They are listed again, marked as an earlier edition, and tapping one opens the exact page you wrote it on.

Scrolling a question no longer draws on it

Scrolling a question with a tool switched on no longer leaves a stray line. more ▾less ▴
With the Highlighter or Pen switched on, swiping up or down to scroll a question could leave a line or a band across the words you swiped over, and the question would not scroll. Scrolling now works normally while a tool is on: swipe down the page as usual, and drag across the words only when you actually want to mark them. Freehand and Eraser still use the whole block, as before.

Dysentery follow-up on the Immunization sheet corrected from 2 days to 3. more ▾less ▴
On that same sheet, dysentery follow-up was listed as 2 days. The current IMCI chart booklet puts dysentery and pneumonia both at 3 days — 2 days is the older chart, and that is where the 2-5-5-2-5-2-14-30 mnemonic comes from. The sheet now says 3, with the older number named beside it so you recognize either version if it shows up. The practice questions on this were already correct.

Flashcards that cited the newborn screening law were calling it a Republic Act. It is Act No. 3573, an older form of Philippine legislation, and every card now says so correctly.
